Drug Safety Physician - Vaccines / Infectious Disease

BioTalent is collaborating with a world renowned Frankfurt based biotech to appoint a Safety Physician in their Vaccines / Infectious Disease therapy area. As a safety medical expert you are responsible for safety monitoring, risk management and signal management activities.

Applicants will have a valid UK or EU passport (sponsorship is not offered). Relocation allowance value will be awarded on individual circumstance and origin location relocating to Frankfurt area.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Clinical Safety tasks on individual patient level within clinical trials
• Provide medical input to the writing and approval of safety sections of clinical trial documents + provide safety updates
• Regulatory reporting to relevant authorities and ethics committees
• Primary point of contact for the Clinical Safety Managers, Medical Monitors, CROs etc
• Oversee the benefit-risk profile of assigned products

Requirements

• Medical Degree
• Specialist training in Infectious Disease / Public Health / Internal medicine (GMC or Board certification is a bonus)
• Experience as an investigator or research physician in clinical trials (ideally related to vaccines or infectious disease)
• Experience with data input/tracking/systems
• Knowledge of GCP and global clinical safety regulations
• Experience with SAE assessments, SUSAR reporting, signal management safety writing etc
• Fluent English, written and spoken. German language would be a bonus
