We have partnered with an outstanding CDMO based in Slough, UK, together we are scouting for an energetic and innovative Principal Scientist with experience working with large molecules and novel biopharmaceutical products.

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing experimental plans to build and optimise analytical methods for use on recoupling biopharmaceutical products.
  • Leading a variety of studies (transfer/development and/or validation) covering a wide scope of analytical methods.
  • Transferring these analytical methods into additional internal laboratories and locations.
  • Identifying emerging technologies and implementing these in line with business needs.
  • Signing off method performances, making sure they meet defined requirements.
  • Being involved in sales meetings, clarifying technical details and advising on meeting proposals.
  • Championing statistical techniques for data analysis.
  • Forming and sanctioning test methods, study protocols and reports.  
You will bring the following:
  • BSc/MSc/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or previous industry experience.
  • Fresh knowledge of protein structure, post translational modifications, degradation pathways and quality attributes related to biopharmaceutical products.
  • Hand-on experience resolving complex problems during method development/operations.
  • Experienced using tools such as DoE to support method optimisation.
