Consultant Clinical Development Physician

• Fractional Contract Opportunity (20-30%) in Basel.
• Clinical Development Physician, ideally with Neurology (Multiple Sclerosis) background and experience designing and executing clinical strategy.

We’re partnering with a leading European biotech to support early clinical strategy for an exciting pipeline asset within the Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis field.

Overview

We need an experienced Clinical Development Physician with a strong neurology background to lead the development of a clinical strategy for an MS indication. This role will focus on shaping the study design, indication positioning, and overall development roadmap for a novel therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical strategy development for a Multiple Sclerosis program

• Design early-phase (Phase 1/2) or proof-of-concept studies

• Define target patient populations and endpoints (e.g. relapse rate, MRI lesions, disability progression)

• Support regulatory and scientific interactions

• Conduct competitive landscape analysis

• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, regulatory, and translational teams

Requirements

• MD with significant experience in Clinical Development

• Strong background in Neurology, ideally Multiple Sclerosis

• Proven experience designing clinical trials in autoimmune or CNS indications

• Experience with early-stage development and study strategy

• Biotech or pharma experience preferred
