My client has a fantastic opportunity for a HEAD OF COMPLIANCE to Make a positive impact on the day to day operations of a successful global business, taking the lead on risk management to ensure delivery of ethical and compliant practices across the board.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a new function within the business, working with the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary to ensure adherence to laws, rules and regulations
• Ensure the business effectively measures and manages the risks it faces, and support colleagues in their duty to comply with relevant laws, regulations and internal procedures
• Manage 2 direct reports, leading on compliance monitoring/reporting across the business
• Develop and manage routine monitoring and compliance audits as required
• Managing the whistleblowing facility, ensuring adequate follow-ups are in place
• Undertaking 'Horizon scanning' activities, keeping colleagues across the business informed of emerging issues and regulatory developments
• Maintain effective compliance and conduct risk frameworks
• Oversee development and maintenance of company compliance policies and procedures
• Engaging with all staff to develop a positive and professional approach to compliance
• Act as primary point of contact with regulators and other key bodies

Key skills & experience required:

• Experience in a compliance management role
• Compliance qualification e.g ICA
• Experience of collating data and producing MI reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear and concise records
• Strong attention to detail
