Most of our live vacancies are listed, but not all. Some clients request confidentiality, particularly for senior or strategically sensitive hires. Certain contract roles also move at speed and may be filled before they go live online. The application and interview process

What to expect once you've applied, and how we support you throughout the search for your new role.

Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by the consultant managing that vacancy. If your profile is a strong match, they'll be in touch to arrange an initial conversation. We aim to provide timely updates at every stage. You'll always hear from us, whether the outcome is positive or not.

You will always be informed. We believe in keeping the candidate experience transparent and personal. If a role goes to another candidate, your consultant will let you know and, where appropriate, discuss other opportunities that may be a better fit.

Yes. Our consultants will provide tailored preparation before any interview we arrange on your behalf, including insights into the hiring organisation, role expectations and likely interview format. For specialist roles, our consultants' industry background means they can offer genuinely relevant guidance, not just generic tips.

Contractors and interim professionals

Practical information for contractors placed by BioTalent.

Please contact your BioTalent consultant directly and they will ensure your contract documentation is sent promptly.

Timesheets should be submitted via InTime. If you're unsure how to access the portal or need your login details, contact your consultant or reach out to our team directly.

Please contact your consultant as a matter of priority. We will work with you and your end client to do everything possible to ensure payment is processed on schedule.

Your first point of contact should be your umbrella payroll provider. If the issue isn't resolved promptly, contact your BioTalent consultant who will assist in progressing the matter.

We partner with a range of compliant, reputable UK umbrella providers to ensure our contractors receive timely payment and appropriate support. Contact your consultant for guidance on which options are available to you.
