Charlie Sweetman is a Partner for the US Automation division at BioTalent, specialising in contract recruitment for process controls and automation within the life sciences sector. She works with global manufacturing companies, including Eli Lilly, Lonza, Merck, and Pfizer, providing resources across the automation pyramid aligned to Industry 4.0, including ERP, MES, DCS-PLC-SCADA, and Industrial Cyber Security.
Charlie's journey into life sciences recruitment began after completing her dissertation and moving to London, where she quickly found her passion for recruitment. She thrives in the fast-paced, technology-driven field of automation, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys attending festivals, cycling through London, and socialising with friends and colleagues at the pub. Fun fact: She had selective mutism as a child but now can't stop talking!
