Dr Linda McGoldrick, PhD, MBA, MSW, FRSA, FRSM

Dr. Linda McGoldrick is a global board director, CEO and strategist with a distinguished record of leading healthcare, life sciences and financial services organisations through high-stakes turnarounds, complex transformations and rapid growth. Over a 30+year career, she has advised CEOs and boards across the UK, US, Europe, China and Southeast Asia, working with organisations ranging from multinational corporations to high-growth startups.  

She brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, governance, new venture development, and enterprise transformation, with particular strengths in navigating complex multi-country environments. Her experience spans public companies listed across seven global exchanges, as well as private companies, public-private partnerships and alliances. She is also recognised for policy expertise in clinical and regulatory affairs and digital health. Dr. McGoldrick currently serves on the boards of EIR Biopharma, the Institute for Health Care Improvement (IHI) and The Royal Society of Medicine. She is an appointee of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Her prior board experience includes Alvotech plc, Compass Pathways, Cranial Technologies, Charles River Laboratories International and Vocera Communications.  

In addition, she is a board member of The Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy and The Paddy Ashdown Centre of Global Affairs. She has held board positions with NGOs, governments, and UK and EU Ministerial bodies. Dr. McGoldrick has also served on the boards of Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives and Project HOPE, in addition to numerous university trustee and civic board appointments. She also continues to advise corporations globally.  

Earlier in her career, Dr. McGoldrick was a strategy consultant at Arthur D. Little and later Director of Business Development at Shearson Lehman American Express. She founded Financial Health Associates International to provide strategic and operational advisory services. She has held multiple CEO and senior executive roles, including at the Drug Information Association, the International Diabetes Federation, Marsh McLennan and Kaiser Permanente International.  

Dr. McGoldrick holds a PhD in Global Health from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from The Wharton School, an MSW in Health Care from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University, with additional studies at the University of Sussex. She also holds a cybersecurity qualification from the U.S. Naval War College, ESG/Sustainability and GCB.D credentials. She is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts (Enterprise, Science, Arts & Commerce), The Royal Society of Medicine and The New York Academy of Medicine and was formerly a Faculty Fellow at The King’s Fund. Dr. McGoldrick continues to serve on advisory boards, as a podcast guest and conference speaker. She was recognised by The Financial Times as a top 100 Board Director.
