We hosted a 'Digital Inclusion Workshop' with the National Deaf Children's Society
At BioTalent, which is part of Trinnovo Group, inclusion is the norm, not the exception. We collaborate with our partners, building trusted relationships, to create workplaces that are representative of the society we live in. We work with our clients to help them co-define the impact they seek as an inclusion-focused organisation.
We offer our own recruitment knowledge, resources, expertise, and skills to provide outreach services to those in need of employability advice and guidance. We work with different charitable partners to positively make an impact, from virtual mentoring sessions to the employability programme Fast Futures and more recently our ‘Digital Inclusion’ workshops in collaboration with LinkedIn.
This week we worked with our friends at the National Deaf Children’s to host a ‘Digital Inclusion’ workshop and LinkedIn live demo to deaf people aged 13 – 25 years old. The session covered:
- Uncover what a digital footprint is
- The importance of a responsible digital footprint
- How to be a good digital citizen
- Determine the power of LinkedIn
- The benefits of LinkedIn
- How to setup an optimised LinkedIn professional profile
“‘The National Deaf Children’s Society worked in collaboration with Trinnovo to deliver a live webinar about the social media platform, LinkedIn. The webinar was well received by the deaf young people who attended. They asked lots of questions and are now keen to set up their own LinkedIn accounts. Both Sophie and Richmond were fantastic presenters – clear and concise.
I would like to say a big thank you to Sophie and Richmond for their hard work in delivering a brilliant workshop. We hope to work with Trinnovo in the future as there is definitely a gap in deaf young people’s knowledge and understanding of how to use the platform. LinkedIn is a brilliant way for deaf young people to find work and having that knowledge will build their confidence and create work opportunities.’.”- Mark Gill, National Deaf Children’s Society.
We are committed to enabling organisational success and know that businesses thrive when their workforce is diverse, and their cultures are inclusive.
