A three-factor production model
The publication extends the established biopharmaceutical production function by separating workforce capability from automation capability for the first time — producing a three-factor model in which capital, automation and workforce are each treated as independent, measurable drivers of performance. The paper includes a simulation study of automated biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
