Trinnovo Charity Football Match
We sent a team of football fanatics to play a charity football session in aid of our incredible charitable partner Street League, raising an incredible £525 and counting. In true English tournament style, Trinnovo 'A' were defeated on penalties in the Altrincham tournament final, following a 2-2 draw and some huge performances all over the pitch.
The tournament winners had earlier seen off Trinnovo 'B' in the semi-finals... we had been winning 1-0 with a couple of minutes to go, but ultimately couldn't hold on for the All-Trinnovo final and went down to 2 late goals.

BioTalent Social Webinar #2: Is there Gender Bias in Data & Technology?
Social awareness of biases, apparent within Biomedical Artificial Intelligence (AI) has recently skyrocketed. A June 2020 article published by Nature, spoke about sex-specific biologic differences still ignored by major Drug Discovery researchers and how women are underrepresented in clinical trials. This is illustrated with an example of the sleep medication Zolpidem which slows down drug metabolism in women, where a study conducted in 2013, found that women who took the recommended dose were found asleep during activities such as driving.
